What is going on with @skyf1 coverage this weekend. Terrible, mistake after mistake. Random square on the screen, sound out of sync, sky pad switching to random images so we can't see what @karunchandhok is explaining. Worst coverage they've ever done.
Surely as team mates, Mercedes should have discussed before the start. With Lewis on softs, Russell should give way on Mediums as Lewis will probably be ahead and challenging for the lead. #QatarGP#skyf1@karunchandhok
Verstappen getting more help from the FIA in the sprint race, penalised most drivers for marginally going across the white line but not Max… this is why the sports such a farce @fia#SkyF1#QatarGP#helpinghand
@f1technical They've extended the curbs at two turns for safety as the curb was affecting the tyre. If the extension doesn't work, they'll all have to do 3 mandatory pit stops tomorrow.
@BunFormula@johnmtua@HAMLEWISIR Er no, not exactly the same at all. The last race was red flagged, which is what should have happened in '21. Both can then fairly change tyres and fight. Merc were correct with the strategy, if the safety car rules were applied correctly and the lapped cars allowed to overtake
@PG_F1 It was restart leniency, that's the only reason. If it had happened a lap later when cars had spaced out he would have been penalised. I don't get how Sargeant wasn't given a pen for smashing de vries though. That was worse than Sainz.
I also expect Gasly and Sargeant to get a reprimand. Gasly lucky considering he's close to a ban on penalty points. The fact is was a race start will be in his favour.
It was simple. Sainz causes a collision and the aftermath causes a red flag before the field pass the 1st sector. Sainz rightfully given a penalty for his error. They now have to go back to the last completed sector. End of. I don't get why people are confused, it's so simple 🤷🏻
