@seanytobs@ClarkeMicah I'm no big fan of the Tories, far from it, and I doubt Hitchens is either, but we have to deal with the cards we've been dealt. We must keep Labour out. Don't split the vote and vote Tory.
@Sheanderthal @cyronationalist @AshtonStan5855 @ClarkeMicah Correlation is not causation. Plus, Farage was absolutely not the only one talking about NATO expansion vis a vis Russia. It's been part of the discourse for decades. Farage was not particularly perspicacious.
@DrDavidJeffery Well, doc, I think this is your next book: the strange death of political communication! We have experienced in the past decade or so a substantial loss of rhetorical power and clarity. Most recent political speeches make me cringe.
@ClarkeMicah I don't want to sound like Cameron/Gideon telling the public they will regret voting for Brexit, but I really do feel many conservatives will regret their Reform vote once they see the Marxists in power.
@ClarkeMicah The Reform lot aren't listening, Peter, unfortunately. They hate the Tories so much, they've defenestrated election maths and they will pave the way for Labour, ironically and self-defeatingly.
@freddiesayers@NoahCarl90@unherd Silly argument. It's also reasonable and intellectually defensible to say that Farage is a Putin apologist. These circular arguments are tiresome.
