i knew he was true to this when he said he would not make a movie if it had a bad script, that the story had to mean something. hope we get a few more 🥹

Tom Holland revealed that he wasn't a fan of the original script for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.'

According to Holland, the film was initially planned as another Multiverse-heavy story, with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield returning alongside multiple Venom Symbiotes.

However, he pushed for a more grounded, street-level direction, believing Spider-Man works best when dealing with crime in New York and interacting with heroes like Punisher and Hulk instead of another Multiversal event.

That creative shift ultimately helped shape the final version of the film.
