DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD, and He will give you the desires and petitions of your heart.♥️
— PSALM 34:7

Read until the end - this is a prophetic word with revelation and instruction.

First, desires and petitions are not the same.

Desires are things you want, things you like, things you may be dreaming about—even though you do not necessarily need them.

That’s alright with God. You see, He’s a Good and Loving Father. He loves to bless you and put a smile on your face… just because He loves you.

Your contingency in this:

(1) Delight yourself in the Lord - He’s your commitment, your passion, your way of life. You are not casual with Jesus, you are committed to Jesus. You obey the Lord because you love, fear, and honor your God.

(2) Clarify and identify some things you desire. Be specific. What do you love? What do you dream of? What do you like? What would simply make you happy and put a big smile on your face? God wants to know—so without guilt or greed, identify some desires of your heart.

AND NOW, KNOW THIS…

Petitions are different from desires.

Petitions are the matters you may already be praying about, and it may be far more serious matters. Think of a petition in court; think of someone who submits a petition to the judge, an important matter for consideration… **because you need help in getting this done**— You need the help of someone with the power to change the outcome, declare a good outcome, declare something dismissed, grant a win, or decide matters in your favor.

A petition may be concerning a legal or financial matter. A petition may be concerning the case of your healing or restoration. Perhaps your petition is concerning family, a child, a marriage, or some other important “case” where you need our Righteous Judge to rule in your favor.

Now go back again.
Go back to the place of prayer.
Go back to your Bible.
Go back to your flow of obedience.
Go back to the place of big faith.

BECAUSE WHEN YOU DELIGHT YOURSELF IN THE LORD (choose Him, prioritize Him, obey Him)….

GOD GRANTS THE DESIRES AND PETITIONS OF YOUR HEART.♥️

As 4th Watch came to a close very early this morning, I heard in the spirit:

In this harvest season, some of us are about to *Harvest* our heart’s desire. Some of us are about to *Harvest* a resounding victory.

Let’s get our ducks in a row.
Let’s align in correct position.
Let’s boldly approach the Throne of Grace and ASK. (Matthew 7:7)

Let me give someone forensic confirmation:

Some people are keys. Not key as in a key figure, but the person is an actual KEY.

Only Boaz unlocked Ruth’s future.

Only David had the oil and prophetic configuration to not ascend to the throne, but occupy it. Yes, Saul was chosen and capable to an extent as well, but Saul declined in disobedience while David produced a dynasty.

Out of all the young ladies in the running, only Esther carried the oil and prophetic destiny require required to save her nation.

** You can’t be with just anyone. You can’t marry just anyone. You can’t put just anyone in a significant position within your organization.**

Out of all the prophets in the school of the profits and other holy servants of God in the Regent, only Elisha was the key that could unlock not only Naman’s healing, but the financial favor and generational blessing that widow with the two sons, needed.

SOME PEOPLE ARE KEYS.

Certain things will happen when they show up. Certain things become possible when they appear.

It’s not a matter of being good or able, it’s a matter of being God-sent and anointed.

Paul exposed the demonic agenda to keep key people from key places, positions, and connections / relationships.

Jesus Himself exposed the satanic agenda to lower people into an alternate / counterfeit destiny— the devil doesn’t care if you’re successful, influential, or wealthy, as long as you’re not in the destiny God has designed for you.

It is also key to note, when the devil offers a counterfeit destiny, it will often contain the perks and “desirables” God was already going to give you.
