For the last 50 days, D. K. Shivakumar has been seeking an appointment with Rahul Gandhi to finalize the appointment of ministers to the Karnataka Cabinet.

Even today, D. K. Shivakumar is in Delhi, hoping to meet Rahul Gandhi.

Karnataka has had no Education Minister for the last 50 days.

The people of Karnataka should think a hundred times before voting for such a party.

The Ministry of Jal Shakti in the Rajya Sabha yesterday said that in the Supreme Court Verdict dated 16.02.2018, there is no mention that the State of Karnataka has to obtain the consent of the other riparian states, namely Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the UT of Puducherry, to construct any kind of structure across the River Cauvery.

This statement only exposes that the rights of the farmers of Tamil Nadu have been discarded from consideration by the BJP-led Central Government for electoral gains in Karnataka.

I have to point out here that on 5th August 2021, former Union Minister for Jal Shakti Thiru Gajendra Singh Shekawat avl on the floor of Parliament, said that the permission to the State government of Karnataka to prepare a DPR was only conditional, and according to the Inter-State River Water Dispute Act, it is mandatory to obtain permission from all the lower riparian States (in this case Tamil Nadu) for the construction of a dam which passes Inter State.

Why is the Central Government now suddenly making a U-turn on the position it had already taken? Is expecting consistency at least on life-changing decisions of our Farmers too much to ask for?

Request the central government not to take the people of Tamil Nadu for granted and unnecessarily vitiate the brotherly relationship between the two friendly states, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

I just checked and was surprised to note that your membership drive has more or less stalled and I feel one of the key reasons is your posts like the one below…

I won’t rebut it as many have already done and hopefully you would have realised your mistake but my limited point is that when things are not progressing well, you should try and do things differently…

Your unnecessary BJP bashing is having no effect and you must review this failing tactics of yours. Your goal of 50 lac members seems farther now and at some point of time you will have to review that target too, of kickstarting your political party…

Looking at how things are for you at this stage, at some point you should start thinking of ghar wapsi too!
