Three years at NASENI is not something I can easily sum up in a few words.

There have been the big milestones, the difficult moments, the partnerships, the people and the many experiences that have shaped the journey.

But one thing these three years have made very clear to me is the depth of talent and ideas we have in Nigeria.

From our universities and research institutions to our entrepreneurs and industries, there are people working on solutions to problems that matter.

But ideas need a bridge.

A bridge between research and industry. Between innovation and the market. Between what Nigerians can create and what Nigerians can actually use.

Building that bridge is where I believe some of our biggest opportunities lie.

Because the real measure of innovation is not just what we can create, but what we can build with it.

Three years has given me even more confidence in what Nigeria can do. The next chapter is about turning more of that potential into something people can see, use and feel.

There is still work to do. And I’m looking forward to it.

Future Makers Week starts today, and I’ve been thinking about how much of a person’s future can be shaped by one opportunity at the right time.

I didn’t have my career mapped out from the beginning.

My path has taken me through manufacturing, construction, recycling, logistics and technology, and now into the work we’re doing at NASENI.

Each chapter happened at its own pace.

That’s why I’m excited about what Naseni Hub is creating with Future Makers.

For some of the young people joining this week, this may be their first real opportunity to learn, ask questions, meet people working in industries they’re interested in and start figuring out what comes next.

They don’t need to have it all figured out yet.

Sometimes you only understand the value of an opportunity much later.

What matters is that you show up, stay curious and keep building.

Your path will unfold.
