@ProspectsUsmnt@DynamoGunner Agree with talent! That’s why we fielded youngest @MLSNEXTPRO team for last 2 years and one of youngest in 2026.
Players are getting close to 1st team, esp. Arana.
Credit to Tony Vigil’s work with Academy. Now, Bryan Scales and Scott Howey have chance to take it to next level!
As impressive as these stats are, we are even more proud that we are still playing with one of youngest rosters in @MLSNEXTPRO, starting 6 local teens v. STL, and this team already graduated 2 players (Resch & Rivera) onto higher levels.
Great work by Jeremy Hurdle & staff.
Valuable opportunity for Gil to earn USL minutes and help @PHXRisingFC compete for silverware.
This move will help prepare him to play a bigger role with our 1st team in the future.
Great work by Jeremy Hurdle and Dan Roberts to advance another player thru @houstondynamo2 .
@StationDynamo@Old_Soccer_Guy@PHXRisingFC@houstondynamo2 Our HG players are making great strides and making meaningful progress in Academy, HD2, NCAA and on loan. Hard to put a date on ‘when’ they’ll appear for our first team but Arana is certainly getting close.
@Trent_Tiger1@Mannyvela4@PHXRisingFC@houstondynamo2 Erb is also going on loan to gain valuable minutes, which are especially difficult for young GKs. This is more of short term opportunity; we plan for him to rejoin our group this season.
Great start to the season for Pedro and @houstondynamo2!
Also, good work by Jeremy Hurdle and staff integrating our Academy, NCAA and foreign talents, so quickly.
Very happy for Dima and his family.
Another local player making the most of his opportunities in our pathway.
Look forward to his continued development at the club!
Great addition!
Miguel will lead the expansion of our analytics department and continue to leverage our relationship with @src_ftbl.
Happy to welcome him and his family to Houston.
Excited to work with Bryan to build on momentum of Academy.
Experienced leader with a strong understanding of the US landscape and complexity of running an MLS Academy.
He joins during a busy week for Academy with U15s and U16s at GA Cup and U18s at Super Group in Dallas Cup.
Well deserved!
Happy for Agustin to earn a first team contract based on his performances in training and games over past 2.5 months.
Credit to Dan Roberts and our scouting team for identifying him in our college scouting process.
Excited to welcome Sam to Houston! Good fit for our new system; great guy in the locker room.
Provides additional competition at left wingback.
He will occupy a Supplemental Roster spot for next 2 years since he already cleared waivers.
@GlennDavisSoc You’re right; we have great staff in our youth pathway! And we DO have a lot of talented players in Academy and 2nd team but they are young and need time to develop before they impact the 1st team.
I wish there was a quick fix, but creating a productive Academy takes patience.
@GlennDavisSoc As these players gain more experience at this level and consistent exposure to first team training, their development will accelerate and the next step will be contributing to first team.
Again, this doesn’t happen overnight, but we are very pleased with program’s progress.
@GlennDavisSoc Then, we provided more opportunities for Academy players in NEXT Pro than any club in MLS for the past two years. Last year, we led league in minutes played by Academy age players at 51% of total minutes.
