Another memorable PROSCON concludes!
PROSCON 2026 marks the fourth year of our annual conference, bringing together nearly all prosecutors for 3 days of learning, reflection, and professional growth. This year’s conference was held from 24–26 June at Crossroads Maldives.
Throughout the conference, prosecutors participated in a range of sessions and practical activities, including a session on juvenile justice, a mock trial focused on witness testimony, and various other team-building activities.
The theme for this year’s conference, Repairing Bridges: Time to Reconnect, serves as a reminder that professional relationships require care and commitment to maintain. The conference encouraged prosecutors to reconnect, strengthen collaboration, and continue fostering the teamwork that is essential to effective prosecution.
We thank @UNICEFMaldives for their contribution to PROSCON this year as well.
Another remarkable PROSCON concludes!
2025 marks the third year of this annual platform for connection, learning, and professional growth.
This years theme “Upholding the Best Interests of the Child: Strengthening Prosecutorial Teams for Child Centered Justice” framed a series of insightful and interactive sessions, including a special session led by a mental health expert.
We extend our sincere gratitude to @UNICEFMaldives for their continued partnership and funding this important event for 3 consecutive years, and to Plumeria Maldives for hosting this years retreat on the beautiful island of Vaavu Thinadhoo.
“Every child deserves a second chance – because our society is stronger, safer & more just when we choose rehabilitation over retribution.” - UNICEF Rep @eddie_addai
