Poor piglet stuck in a horrible concentration camp ๐บSlapped in the face by a scumbag farmworker and dumped back in a death row prison pen ๐ก When are you going to stop supporting animal abuse? #EndAnimalExploitation#LiveVegan be a true not a fake animal friend โ๏ธ
I felt so sad when I saw that poor dog Dodger.
Not because he was dirty, not because of his matted fur, but because of his eyes. The eyes of a child who still obediently sat waiting outside the door, even though the person inside no longer wanted to open it.
The owner said a very short sentence: โHe doesnโt listen.โ
Then he agreed to hand him over to a stranger with only one condition: โIf you can catch him, you can take him.โ
I asked myself: How many living beings are being condemned by exactly that same phrase?
โDoesnโt listenโ โ three words that so easily become an excuse for us to abandon responsibility. With dogs, with people, with the very relationships we once swore we would keep.
Dodger wasnโt disobedient.
He had simply never been taught.
He had never been loved the right way to understand what โlisteningโ even meant.
All he knew was loyalty โ the only thing he still had left to give.
And the most heartbreaking part: even when he was abandoned right outside his own home, he still didnโt run away. He stayed there. Still waiting.
When the woman finally managed to catch him, the owner actually came out and helped carry him to the car. I donโt know whether to feel grateful or angrier. At least he let go. At least he didnโt cling to a life just to keep making it suffer.
Then the transformation happened.
Four hours at the groomer, and a pure white coat appeared.
On his first night in the new home, he slept for 15 straight hours.
Fifteen hours.
I imagined that sleep.
For the first time in his life, he didnโt have to wake up in the middle of the night terrified of being thrown outside. He didnโt have to listen for footsteps to guess whether he would be fed that day. He justโฆ slept. Slept like a child who was finally allowed to rest.
In his new home, his โsisterโ taught him how to play, how to ask for food, how to wag his tail without fear.
He learned all over again how to be a dog.
And I suddenly thought:
How many of us also need to be โtaught againโ like that?
We too have been told we โdonโt listen,โ that weโre โdifficult,โ that weโre โnot worth it.โ
We too have sat outside the door of a relationship, a job, a family, waiting for a door that would never open again.
And there are days when just one person stopping, looking at us with different eyes, can make life begin all over again.
Dodger didnโt need a perfect new owner.
He only needed someone willing to open the door.
I donโt know the real name of the woman who rescued him. I only know that on that day, she did something very small: she stopped.
And that small act saved an entire life.
Looking at the final images in the video โ Dodger running and jumping, eyes bright, tail wagging nonstop โ I wasnโt just happy for him.
I was happy because there are still people willing to believe that every living being deserves to be loved again.
Sometimes, saving a dog is not only about saving him.
It is a reminder to us that compassion still exists.
And it is far stronger than we think โค๏ธ

๐จ๐ฟ๐ฆ Mpumalanga Traffic Officers.
I donโt care what this truck driver did or didnโt do. I donโt care what nationality he is.
The fact remains: NO human being deserves to be treated like this.
Officers first flattened his tyre, then a group of them proceeded to brutally beat him up on side of a national highway (N4) in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga.
This is not law enforcement. This is thuggery in uniform. Absolutely sickening.

Meet ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ ๐๐๐บ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ด, the adult mental health support worker from #coatbridge, North Lanarkshire who keeps a large bow and arrows at home and uses them to shoot wildlife for fun.
Perfect job for him, right? So caring. So gentle. So not at all a violent man who gets his kicks from inflicting suffering on innocent animals.
On Christmas Day last year, he spotted a squirrel on a bin in his garden.
So he grabbed his bow.
Took aim.
And shot the squirrel in the head.
The animal was pinned against a wall by the arrow.
All of this happened in front of a child, presumably his.
A neighbour witnessed it and called the SSPCA.
Somehow โ unbelievably โ the squirrel survived.
When police charged him with an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act., Cumming said: โIโm innocent.โ
His lawyer told the court he โthought it was acceptable.โ
A grown man.
A support worker.
Shooting a squirrel with a bow and arrow.
In front of a child.
And he โthought it was acceptable.โ
He was fined ยฃ185.
His bow and arrows were confiscated.
And thatโs it.
โ ๐ง๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฅ ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ข๐๐๐๐
Why does a support worker have a bow and arrow at home?
Why did he feel comfortable using it on an animal?
And how many other squirrels โ or pets โ have suffered the same fate?
This wasnโt a moment of madness.
This was deliberate cruelty carried out with a weapon he chose to keep.
Wildlife deserves protection.
Children deserve better role models.
And the public deserves to know exactly who is capable of this.

Christopher Murray, 34, of Pitt County is charged with cruelty to animals after deputies say he cruelly beat a dog that wasnโt even his.
He is being held at the Pitt County Jail under a $10,000 bond and is due in court today.
Beating a dog that doesnโt belong to you is pure cowardice. Charge him, convict him, and make an example.
