@Rugby_Scoop *Potentially an advantageous position for Wales.
Wales haven’t yet passed the line of the infringement, there is nothing quantifiable to say an advantage has occurred.
A subjective decision made errantly with no quantifiable advantage.
I can’t simplify this any further.
@Rugby_Scoop If you kick the ball, the ball has gone beyond the line of Infringement so a tactical advantage has occurred?
I understand the difference however I don’t think you can officiate on “potential” - as it opens officiating to more subjectivity than there already is.
@Rugby_Scoop Factually I don’t think there’s anything 50/50 - the infringement occurs, Wales go backwards under pressure from Scottish tacklers and advantage is called over, at which point no advantage has arisen, and completely at odds to how every other game has been officiated.
@Rugby_Scoop Sets a precedent that advantage should be over everytime as soon as a back gets the ball in the back line and has the potential to break a tackle and make a line break?
@Rugby_Scoop Where is the actual advantage though? At the time Carley calls “advantage over” Wales are 10 yards further back from the infringement.
There’s a potential overlap on, but no advantage has occurred until you are beyond the line of infringement, surely?
@1882__THFC@snoopysnoopy135@LeagueOne25 Even your most optimistic Cardiff fans wouldn’t have expected us to be sitting top at this stage.
We offloaded 15 first team players in the summer and have only brought in 4 players, with a large contingent of u21s now in the first team squad.
BBM has transformed the club.
@henrysaye Direct Winger with pace, Left back to compete with Bagan (someone with Pace would be a bonus) and a ball playing defensive midfielder.
Don’t think we need a striker personally, Salech, Robinson and Davies is more than enough imo.
@robphillipshere@CardiffCityFC@Wrexham_AFC@robandblakey I thought Wrexham were really poor for a side with their backing. £33m spent and an eye-watering wage bill, they reminded me of the Mick McCarthy Cardiff side from years ago. Thought Cardiff were superb tonight, a lot of the academy players have bundles of talent and potential.
@CardiffCityFC 62% possession and four shots (none on target) in a game. Only one side looked like they wanted to win every battle and second ball today. A hint of arrogance and complacency creeping into this Cardiff side.
@CardiffCityFC No intensity, imagination, pace or directness. Plenty of light jogging, under-hit passing and apathy on show today. BBM needs to sort it out really quick, certain players just going through the motions.
@PEBradbury We have to upgrade the pair of them in the next couple of transfer windows, if we’re to progress. Neither can play with any intensity and slow everything down to a walking pace with so many unnecessary touches and under-hit passes.
@davidjohnmelvin@roathboy Can’t disagree more - Rubin took the game by the scruff of the neck at 2-3. Inch perfect cross into Salech and then drew in 4 midfielders to release Kellyman/Kpakio down the right for the winner.
@CardiffCityFC @DragonBetWales @EFL need to invest into the refereeing - he did everything bar kick the ball in the net for Burton tonight. Disgraceful
