Flourishing livelihood through Floriculture!
A total support for 100 acres of marigold cultivation has been provided to ITDA Phulbani under the #MukhyamantriJanajatiJeevikaMission (MMJJM), a pioneering initiative to transform tribal livelihoods.
To witness the successful implementation of marigold cultivation, the Collector, Kandhamal, along with the PA, ITDA Phulbani, and ITDA PMU staff, visited Satanjargi village of Alami Gram Panchayat, where 3 acres of thriving marigold cultivation has been implemented with technical support from PRADAN.
Farmers are earning significant profits, selling marigolds at an average price of ₹50/kg and are expecting an income of ₹80,000 per acre. This initiative is revolutionizing lives and livelihoods in tribal communities.
