@TelegraphDucker@SamWallaceTel Another hyped article by Telegraph. The document clearly says that Etihad didnโt receive subsidies from the government but the government invests in Etihad via loan and equity. Premier League have been cornered by calling it a sham contract. The matter is going to high court.
@anandragn Got the same feeling today. Kicked out NET (only cyber security name that I had bought after earnings) and bought COHR today. Hope market doesnโt disappoints.
@801010athlete Caught it. Got stopped on FROG and AAOI only to see them break out next day. Didnโt took my eyes off TER even thought it stopped me out in the morning from my yesterdayโs buy.
@801010athlete Bought FROG yesterday and got stopped out - IPO high and pullback after good earnings and today completely diverted my attention to semi stocks and missed the entry. Focus on next trade though.
@mmonis@mmonis - Thanks for the post! What do you have to say about todayโs action? I had a few stocks as part of my watchlist but didnโt decide to take any one of them with market so extended. Now I am sitting here getting FOMOed.
@anandragn Could be a possibility. A lot of the stocks that are showing relative strength are gapping right at the prior highs or resistance. I will be patient though as market is already up 5 days in a row. Not going to chase here; rather wait for a pullback.
@mmonis Crazy stuff. I am studying this setup with quite a few parameters in detail (gap down, shakeout, ADR, intraday flush, etc.) but my biggest concern still remains is of next day gap down. Could you shed some light on whether you have faced this scenario and how you have overcome it?
@stamatoudism Also if TSLA is a true leader (it might be in future) why didnโt it show the leadership when the market started going up from April lows. I get the point of holding up well but making a dash when QQQ is up so much and true leaders like NVDA pulling back is hard to digest.
@stamatoudism I just have 1.5 years of market experience so havenโt seen much but the point that I am thinking is that isit really rotation when all the big AI leadership stocks like NVDA are pulling back hard or is it just hiding behind a few stocks like TSLA till those get decimated as well.
@anandragn My opinion is that itโs not a now theme but a theme that will really gain traction couple of years down the line but the cult following is crazy.
@mmonis Another thing I have noticed is that in corrective market one needs to be perfect when it comes to entering a trade otherwise chances of next day gapping down are very higher. And in a correction like Covid the chances were way higher. I would love to know your experience.
@mmonis In the first scenario, if I just wait for trend change or 30 min pivot the stop loss is closer to 7% so without bookmap it becomes difficult to enter with a tight stop loss. Please let me know if I am incorrect. Thanks for sharing as always.
@mmonis Thank you! I just went through it - one follow up question - Is it sufffice to say when it comes to bookmap you look for high liquidity on the bid side and small red balls (market orders) or are there any other strategies that you consider?
