Today is Khudiram Bose's death anniversary. He was just 19 y/o when hanged!

Trying to explain this to 19 y/o today :

Stan bout independence, he yeeted a bomb at British who were shook asf. He was in his revolutionary era but Gandhiji et al thought of him to be delulu!

The incredible story of Suniti Chaudhury, born on this day in 1917. As a thirteen year old she and her friend Shanti walked into the bungalow of the District Magistrate of Comila, GB Stevens, ostensively with a petition for a swimming pool. When he met them, Suniti took out her pistol and shot him dead.
Suniti and Shanti had come prepared for torture and eventual execution, they had actually practiced pricking pins under their fingertips to increase their tolerance of pain, but they were sentenced to life imprisonment and released during a general amnesty after seven years.
Suniti wasn't done. Came out as a twenty one year old and decided to take a degree in medicine to serve her country well when it became independent. Suniti became a reputed doctor in Chandannagar, being known to the locals as 'lady ma,' and practiced all her life, right into the nineties.
Incredible, the stories of the women who fought for our freedom!

1) 'पंचायत' in marathi slang means 'plight' ! Google map image of traffic nr nat'l highway arnd Bhiwandi shows the plight of ppl stuck in traffic!
2) Our hon'ble MP Shri Kapil Patil is a 'पंचायती' राज मंत्री!

Engineers walked a 500mt stretch in Worli.

Some were blind-folded, some were put on a wheelchairs to understand the needs and challenges of diverse users.

@sarangsathaye @MSRDC9 @mygovMaha @nitin_gadkari In Metro Card, if you start at Ghatkopar and get down at Chakala, only that much fare is deducted. Why can't they have something like this in fast tag too. If you exit at Lonavala, only toll for the road used should be deducted.
