With rising temperatures & heatwaves ACs in Indian homes are no longer a luxury.

They are becoming a necessity.

Global AC adoption:

Japan: 91%
US: 90%
China: 80%
India: 8%

That means India has massive headroom for growth.
But the problem is: most ACs were never truly built for Indian homes, Indian weather, and Indian affordability.

@Fintech00 In most of the rooms where we actually live, 1.5 ton AC is not needed, unless you want to sleep in blankets.
A rightly sized AC of 0.75/0.8/1 ton with low fan speed does the job equally well - job of giving comfortable air conditioned indoors. And saves so much money!!!

Watch | On Saturday, the Andhra Pradesh Forest Department authorities cut the bark of an Indian laurel tree in Papikonda National Park to find that the tree stores water in the summer.
