This is the real growth story of India.
Our priority must be quality education making it affordable & accessible. Instead, we keep debating and promoting regional languages for what outcome?
If it contributes to innovation, employability, and economic growth, it makes sense.
VIDEO | Mumbai: Maharashtra Transport Minister Pratap Sarnaik, after a review meeting on making the Marathi language compulsory for auto and taxi drivers, says, “Marathi litterateurs were present and I had also invited office-bearers of rickshaw unions and associations. However, some people boycotted the meeting, as some did not attend. This is wrong. Creating conflict between Marathi-speaking and Hindi-speaking people for political gain should not be anyone’s objective, and I will not allow that to succeed. We have fulfilled all necessary requirements, especially for learning basic Marathi so that drivers can speak with passengers travelling in their rickshaws or taxis.”

Let’s move beyond the tax debate and focus on what truly drives prosperity.
Some stories entertain. Some inspire.
