Breaking:
My acceptance ratio in the Wipro buyback was 35%.
My acceptance ratio in @Sachan8574 ‘s block list was 100%. 😂 after I posted the original source of a tweet.
https://t.co/VEryvpOJWn
Finally achieved full allocation somewhere.
Bought 500 Wipro shares @ ₹205 for the buyback.
Total investment = ₹1,02,500
Expected acceptance ratio:
50-60% (according to buyback experts on social media)
Actual acceptance:
175 shares (35%)
Amount received in buyback:
175 × ₹250 = ₹43,750
Shares left:
325
Effective cost of remaining shares:
(₹1,02,500 − ₹43,750) ÷ 325
= ₹180.77 per share
Sounds good?
The remaining shares are sitting at a loss.
And on top of that,
I still owe capital gains tax on the ₹7,875 profit from the accepted shares.
Final result:
Expected: Easy arbitrage profit.
Reality: Capital gains tax + unrealized loss + a valuable lesson in buyback hype.

@Sachan8574 Expected: Original content.
Actual: 100% acceptance of someone else’s tweet.
Looks like this arbitrage worked better than the Wipro buyback. 😜

Bajaj Auto Buyback Retail Limit Poll 🚀
Assuming the stock moves up before the record date, what’s the maximum quantity that will remain in the Retail category?
@share_buyback#BajajAuto#Buyback#TenderOffer
In Bajaj Auto Buyback 2024, the Entitlement Ratio (ER) for the retail category was 25.99%.
Can we expect a similar Entitlement Ratio (ER) in the current Bajaj Auto buyback as we saw in the 2024 buyback ?

@iSatishAgarwal@the_nubar@Pradnya_007 Hi Satish, I know this is an old tweet and previously the benefit was only for the old regime but now with the exemption limit raised from 50/- to 200/- the benefit applies to the new regime also?
Is my understanding correct?
🚨 ADAM ZAMPA OPENES UP WHY HE CHOSE TO PLAY PSL OVER IPL: 🇵🇰>🇮🇳
Adam Zampa said, "I pulled out of the IPL this year. To be brutally honest, for someone with my skill set, I just don’t get the money that is there for other skill sets. And for the amount of time that the IPL takes, it just didn’t seem like a reasonable choice for me to keep playing it. I was going to have a break, but PSL was on the radar about a month ago. It’s all happened pretty quickly, but I’m enjoying it."
