Stop hiding behind victimhood. The backlash isn't about your GENDER, it's about your blatant disrespect to our sacred festival of Raksha Bandhan.

When male stars like Milind Soman faced legal cases and public fury for their controversial photoshoots, they didn't hide behind gender or play the victim card.
Your personal freedom ends where commercial Ad begins.
Off-camera, wear whatever you like, roam naked nobody cares. But sexualizing a sacred festival for a brand paycheck crosses a line. If a male actor stood bare-chested performing the exact same ritual in an ad, the outrage would be identical. Context dictates appropriateness.
Attire is the visual identity of culture. Stripping a festival of its sacred aesthetic isn't "modernization", it's cheap commodification.
Respecting a tradition means honoring its context, not distorting it for profit.

Of course not. Because society has certain norms, occasions have certain etiquette, and places have certain standards.

Our Hindu festivals are no different. They carry their own sanctity, traditions and cultural significance. We respect everyone’s personal choices, but that doesn’t mean every place, occasion or Hindu festival needs to be stripped of its dignity.

I dare you try the same in EID.. I know you won't.. so Stop playing with our Dharma.

There is a reason why clothes for Holi are different from Diwali. There is a reason why people dress differently for a wedding than halloween. Culture, traditions and events have relevant clothing, sweets, food and they are defined by what is appropriate according to them and what's not.

Stop justifying absolutely ridiculous dressing meant only to grab eyeballs(and you're getting paid for it) with idea of people telling women what to wear.

You wear all this in all your movies because you hardly know how to act and no one gives a damn because they know this is the only way you survive in the business.

But please spare our festivals

It is crazy that while the brother who seems younger to you in the ad knows well what right dressing for occasion for rakshabandhan is, but you don't.

The ad maker capitalized on sexualizing you by making you wear this and you did it happily for the fee but now giving sermons to those who are only expressing their opinion about your dress.

Bring better AI lines next time. Calling cleavage neckline won't make you look any better.
