People, like trees, put down roots in the communities they live in. These roots are extensive and intertwine with other roots in the community. The longer they live in a place, the more intertwined they are. These “illegals” are your friends, the parents of your children’s classmates and friends, the taxpayers of your state, paying sale’s taxes and other taxes, they pay rent and they have extensive families. Being documented or undocumented doesn’t change their importance to their communities. People who are violent criminals should be deported. Period. Deportation should not be a means of inflicting damage and cruelty to the country. Trump’s mass deportation will not make us safer, but will terrorize people you know and care for. It will be an orange stain on the country.
💙 Last month, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer and had surgery to remove half of my colon. Thankfully, I didn’t need a colostomy bag. 🙏
At this point, I only need chemotherapy—no radiation. 💉 On April 1st, I had my port placed, and today I started the first of 12 chemotherapy treatments. 💪
Please keep me in your prayers that everything goes smoothly. 🙏❤️ Thank you all so much for your love and support. I’ll be keeping each of you in my prayers as well. 💙✨
Some hospitals allow it. Some don’t.
But when someone is saying goodbye for the last time, having their dog there can mean everything.
I’m curious how others feel about this.
