So, in addition to teaching World Geography at the University of Indianapolis, I’m so happy to share that I'm rejoining my friends and former colleagues at the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) this fall to help get a new program off the ground.

USGLC’s #bipartisan members work together to educate our congressional leaders on the importance of investing in our country’s tools of #internationaldevelopment and #diplomacy that keep us safe and strong and do so much good in the world.

Last year, some of my great grandmother’s belongings were passed down to me, including a fabulous collection of tea cups. They had been packed away in boxes for decades, and today many of them are displayed in my home. (1/4)

The history of the monarchy is complicated, just like our own country’s history, and I’ve enjoyed taking about that with my world geography students. But today, I raise my tea cup in gratitude for a connection across generations with my great grandmother, (3/4)

Best perk of the new gig at @uindy so far?? Getting to hear @BillNye live on campus and hear him say that one of the best things we can do to help the environment is to pay attention to politics and vote for candidates that will take science seriously and make better choices.

Earlier I met the fantastic geography students I’ll be learning with this fall at @uindy. And now, I’m at @LifeAtPurdue with my former colleagues at @usglc for the #HeartlandSummit22 and a panel about relationship between tech and foreign policy. It’s a great global day in IN!
