Phoenix City Hall will shine with two pillars of light to honor those we lost twenty‑five years ago and the brave public servants who answered the call on September 11, 2001. Visit this tribute in downtown Phoenix tonight, September 10, and again tomorrow evening on September 11.
Today, the City of Phoenix was honored to receive the designation of a Certified Autism Center by @IBCCES, meaning a majority of our public-facing staff are trained to better serve residents with autism, sensory sensitivities, and cognitive differences. Our city is the largest municipality in the nation to earn this designation.
We want to do the best job we can for all Phoenix residents.
Every second counts to secure our water future. 💧
The first of three Pure Water Phoenix projects is well underway. And this is what investing in next gen infrastructure looks like.
The Cave Creek Road Water Reclamation Plant will be the site of the City's first Advanced Water Purification Facility — capable of producing nearly 7 million gallons of purified drinking water each day — enough water to serve 25,000 households.

When @DianaTaurasi set the @WNBA scoring record in 2017, Phoenix put up a street sign in her honor.
But she kept scoring, and that number kept growing.
So this morning, we unveiled a new sign with her updated point total and an incredible new mural in her honor at @MMCenter_PHX. A fitting tribute for the GOAT. 🐐🏀

Before celebrating, check where fireworks are allowed! Use our interactive map to find your address and the type of zone you are in. Phoenix will have dedicated patrols focused on stopping illegal fireworks usage across our neighborhoods.
It's best to leave the fireworks to the pros! Catch Light Up the Sky on July 2 at American Family Fields and the spectacular Fabulous Phoenix 4th on July 4 at Steele Indian School Park.
