Deputies assisted with briefly closing a portion of Highway 36 earlier today so that a herd of cattle could cross safely. It’s all part of serving the community, sometimes that means lights and sirens, and sometimes it means lending a hand (and a little patience).

Thank you to drivers who slowed down and gave everyone the space needed to get the job done safely.
