@literati legit question… is someone trying to kill your business from within? Why are you cancelling people’s book fairs left and right because they “might not” hit a sales goal you just came up with? Super disappointed.
@Renee_Marie1988 @DennisDill@Askmsdel Right, like why did he even tweet this… no one is making kids ask to use the bathroom if the bathroom is IN THE ROOM.

@jhernandezbooks The Thing About Jellyfish! The protagonist’s best friend drowns, and she struggles to process her grief (and guilt about how she left the friendship), so she decides a jellyfish must have stung and killed her and dives into research to prove it.
@EDUwithEmily My favorite is when a teacher brings them early but still expects you to go til your normal end time. Sorry, no. Your time is 30 minutes. If you started 8 minutes early, you finish 8 minutes early.
@carlcyndi5 @melaniezolnier @PresidentPat It’s also honestly lazy and uninformed teaching. Saying “write an essay about your topic” while offering no support takes no effort.
@melaniezolnier @PresidentPat To piggyback off of this, elementary students being asked to write a five-paragraph “research essay” about a topic with no provided structure or guidelines.
@Wertwhile People complaining about New Math should first ask themselves

Many states don’t allow mail-in ballots to be counted before Election Day.
But many races can’t be called until mail-ins are counted, which can take over 24h.
This is normal, but some GOP are laying ground to claim any race not called tonight is suspicious. Don’t fall for it.
