On my way home tonight the person driving the snowplow truck saw I was struggling while trying to drive in the snow. He waited for me at the top of each hill to make sure I made it. On the last hill he stopped to see how much further I had to go. He didn’t know anything about me. He just saw someone who was struggling and decided to make sure they were alright! That my friends is what God’s love looks like in human form.

Our brains are designed to solve problems. But we simply cannot "solve" emotions in the same way that we would a math problem. We need other skills for our emotional world. Skills like mindfulness and compassion.
