The filling you have when you realize there is no justice in this world. What we have is the Thomas Hobbes's "man in the state of nature" in a disguised form.

A BBC interview yesterday drove me to tears. Barghouti painted the bleakest picture so far in the Israel Palestine war. He said a one day old baby received its death certificate before its birth certificate. No sooner the baby was born than it was killed.😭

Where are rules of war? where is the Jeneva convention ? where is the so-called international law? where is the conscience of the world? Sorry to say, but it seems Israel is above the law. Evil can never be used to justify evil

It's high time the Sierra Leone Police reviewed their rules on how their personnel handle their rifles. I say this following the shooting yesterday in Freetown of Foday Alieu aka Big Fish who snatched the rifle of a female police officer.

Narrated Anas bin Malik (RA): Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,

"The son of Adam (i.e. man) grows old and so also two (desires) grow old with him, i.e., love for wealth and (a wish for) a long life."

(Sahih al-Bukhari)

Our leaders are in Nairobi. African leaders are not new to conferences, what is a challenge is how to implement the outcomes of summit in to reality. Climate change is hitting Africa, the faster we act the better we protect our future.

The khaki boys again this time Gabon. God save Africa! but again is it not a sign that the populace is fed up with the political class in Africa. Which hands are behind these coups. Good governance is the only dose that we need or else..

Owning a car in Sierra Leone at this time is very challenging. Pump price is on top of the roof. Our public transportation is something else.

The world is becoming crazier by the day. Honesty eroding, betrayals on the increase. Like Bob Marley once "you don't know who to trust, some will eat and drink with you and behind you they...".

#Gambia has confirmed that 27000 bank accounts were overpaid for November salaries by the Central Bank following a mistake in payment system. Some workers were paid millions of dalasis, more than they can ever earn in five years or more. https://t.co/I8HrIk7KXJ

It was a pleasure hosting @ashmieu at @KTAR923 over the last couple of months as part of the @HumphreyProgram at @Cronkite_ASU. It was insightful to learn from a fellow journalist from Sierra Leone and I hope your time in our newsroom was a good one. Best wishes Mohamed!

So our clerk of Parliament Umar Tarawally has distanced himself and the speaker from the leaked document that seeks to increase MPs salaries and other benefits. Isn't Sierra Leone an interesting country. Imagine if there were no social media.
