Punjab is strengthening its public transport network with another major upgrade!

The Government of Punjab is adding 1,279 new government buses, increasing the fleet from 2,267 to 3,546 buses. Among them, 796 modern buses will feature GPS tracking, CCTV cameras and dash cams to enhance passenger safety and improve travel.

The order has also been placed for 696 ordinary buses, including 387 for PUNBUS and 309 for PEPSU, further expanding public transport across the state.
