@Breenandheard Oh, perfect! It's weird not always being informed about random things now, lol. Same, I miss working with you too! ๐ I hope you're also doing well.
UPDATE: If you are fully vaccinated against #COVID19, you can resume activities without wearing a mask or staying 6 feet apart, except where required by federal, state, local, tribal or territorial laws, incl. local business and workplace guidance. More: https://t.co/FJMon7WlFO
I am screaming internally today and frankly all this week. I am SO ANNOYED with @CityofCRiowa & the endless construction downtown. It is so miserable working DT or going here for anything. Literally every other road is closed w/ no notice. I feel bad for all the small businesses!
@CityofCRiowa I do appreciate that! Thank you for the info. I donโt remember getting one at Eastbank Venue where weโre surrounded by road closures but Iโll have to check the mail again. Itโs still just frustrating but I guess thatโs just Midwest living. I still havenโt gotten used to it ๐ฅบ
Proud to know my acquittal will set precedent for other unjust arrests during protests.
That was a huge motivation for me to continue this fight for nearly a year.
Meanwhile, we're still waiting for the DSM police review of this incident, in which an officer deliberately pepper-sprayed @katie_akin in the face after she identified herself 17 times in 30 seconds as a Register reporter and shouted that she was complying with order to leave.
