@AdrianaLaGrange It’s disappointing to see a registry no one asked for released today, to see class sizes grow, supports for students’ needs reduced, a unwanted curriculum hastily implemented, and a Minister consistently dismiss the concerns of parents and teachers. But maybe that’s just me.
Another #firstweek activity is to have students organize their Drive. Have you ever looked at their #Googledrive?? It's similar to looking under their bed! #messy
Too many times we assume Ss have #Google skills and don't explicitly teach them.

@AdrianaLaGrange Pardon? Many stakeholders were consulted in the NDP curriculum that was proposed. Shame on this government for not listening to professionals & parents that have genuine concerns over how inappropriate this new curriculum is. We need children to be critical, creative thinkers.
I’m excited to announce I am seeking the @albertaNDP nomination for Sherwood Park! You deserve to be heard in the #ableg and I want to make this a reality.

For the record @jkenney & @AdrianaLaGrange: My students are the BEST part of my job. I would shield them with my life if someone intended to do them harm. The fact that I express concern about all of us being shoved in an enclosed space with no masks does not make me a villain.
Today, on #WorldTeachersDay, I’m thinking of Alberta teachers and what you’ve been up against: cuts to funding, attacks on pensions, a regressive curriculum, and more…all while teaching in the midst of a pandemic.
But, you still put kids first.
Thank you isn’t enough.
