@kmele Who hurt you? 😆
Lol, no let me consider what you said a bit longer and listen to the podcast.
So awesome to actually get to talk to you - it’s my sister’s birthday tomorrow so I need to go consume (shop)
@kmele@BretWeinstein @cvaldary @ericweinstein@CaitlinPacific@Ayishat_Akanbi True - But it poverty will ruin us at a faster rate. And given that a pandemic has made it harder to pull ourselves up by our boot straps, I think it’s time public intellectuals start talking more about a vision, building, thriving and less about cancel culture.
@kmele@BretWeinstein @cvaldary @ericweinstein@CaitlinPacific@Ayishat_Akanbi Correct, but I think only in the short term and certainly not enough to justify the societal waste that poverty causes.
In the long term though, I think that most people will see the network effects of UBI - families’ ability to pool resources - to buy homes, property...
Instead of a ‘like’ button, what would happen it were a ‘thank you’ button?
How would that change the conversations on Twitter and Facebook, if at all?
Thoughts?
@kmele@BretWeinstein @cvaldary @ericweinstein@CaitlinPacific@Ayishat_Akanbi I’d love to see all my favorite thought leaders tackling “how we best maximize human potential” and less “how we win the ideological debate” not because it’s not important, but rather because the latter is so very futile.
