it’s been almost 7 months since the first show of the midnight sun tour and wow it has been a journey 🥹🌺 many people don’t know this but @zaralarsson and i have been working together for over 5 years now. when we were on a music video shoot last year, i randomly asked her; “i know i’ve been on tour with you before for a show here and there, but what if i do a full run with you and we really just have fun?!” like it would be our first opportunity where we could literally just do whatever we want with no restrictions.
i don’t know why, i just had a feeling it was going to be good, but i never would have expected this amount of love, support and unity from all over the world. i’ve shed so many tears of happiness over the past months reading and seeing all your beautiful comments, press articles, dms, recreations and all the fans at the shows, no matter the age or gender, in full midnight sun glam! and even huge celebrations like carnival 🇧🇷❤️
one of the most special parts of all of this has been seeing how many people felt inspired to play with makeup, creativity and self expression again 🥹 it really feels like this became something so much bigger than just glam for a tour, and words cannot describe how incredibly grateful i am for each and every one of you that has shown zara and i so much love and support. truly.
and i also just want to thank you @zaralarsson, for trusting me since the second you met me and giving me the opportunity to express myself so freely, while also being the most beautiful canvas ever. when i look at you i feel so proud, and not even just because of the makeup, but because of the superstar you are and always have been. you deserve everything you are receiving right now and more, and i am so happy i get to experience this journey with you 🫂💕🔐
and lastly, another special thank you to paul edwards 🦋 you introduced zara and i in october 2020 and if it wasn’t for you, we wouldn’t be here right now!
finding out the artemis ii astronauts talked with poets and studied poetry so they knew how to properly convey what they were seeing in words and saying that the arts played a huge role in their time in space. oh my god
Jeff fucking Bezos going on a media tour to tell everyone they shouldn't tax him and other billionaires because it won't help, is EXACTLY why we need to tax them into oblivion.
Fuck ya'll.
I love this trick from baby boomers. Make things insanely unaffordable and do not raise workers’ wages. Then, complain that young people spend too much money on frivolous activities like eating lunch.
Congress gets free healthcare for life, a pension when they retire, and $79 A DAY for lunch... that’s all BEFORE their $175,000 a year salary.
The system is a joke and tax payers are the punchline.
