@alyssacabhart A4: An interdisciplinary approach gives Ss the opportunity to use and master skills in all settings with experts in all areas to guide them. Authentic experiences and opportunities can prepare Ss for a more realistic future as well. #323learns
@alyssacabhart A3: To me, supports are broad and encompass all things we try to give Ss to level the playing field. Services would be more the details, extra interventions, and time spent or minutes needed. #323learns
@alyssacabhart A2: Small, measured, and informed way of goal attainment. Ss & all adults can see/better understand where they are starting and how they are progressing, and Ss have more of an idea of where they are, which empowers them in their learning. #323learns
@alyssacabhart A1: I believe that we can always have conversations to discuss what we’re doing and why. If it’s not working “the old way” then we need to figure out why we’re still doing it and brainstorm growth and new angles to tackle. #323learns
A3: I love using graphic organizers to keep track of the important information so Ss don't have to hunt for the little things. If they have access to more info that's easily accessible it helps give them the tools towards independence #323learns
@alyssacabhart A2: Limiting choices can give students a chance to choose between appropriate actions instead of open ended options if they struggle with regulating themselves. #323learns
A1: A common challenge could be keeping track of each Ss individual interventions when you account for all IEPs, 504s, ELLs & RTI in all the different settings. Time is also short when trying to reach all needs.

@StefaniePitzer A4: I've had to unlearn processes/procedures year2year as I Iearn and grow with new PD opps. Things shouldn't be done just because it's what we've always done, growth is always the goal. I can't say it's always smooth but updating what needs to be done is so critical #323learns
@StefaniePitzer All the time! I advocate for self-care and grace but it seems that many times I don't give myself the same things I try to help my Ss with. I am trying to get better at taking my own advice and making more time to recharge a priority #323learns
@StefaniePitzer A2: I wish I had natural light! My office is in the middle of the building so I've opted to use lamps vs overhead lights. I try for a calm, organized, and inviting space so that Ss want to come and sit a while. I'd love to add some more comfy seating #323learns
@StefaniePitzer A1: 1 + habit would have to be making the time for taking better care of myself, that hasn’t always been the case. I wish I could end the habit of hitting snooze! At school I genuinely try to acknowledge and say hello to as many people as I can each day #323learns
A4: I'm not sure that risk-taking is something I do much of but I am consistent in letting Ss and others know when I don't have the answer but will work on finding it for them. I feel that being honest and open is key in building trust & comes with it's own risks #323learns
A3: My first few minutes of each day are used to check emails, catch colleagues before the day begins, and to generally be available for students to drop in. I'm sure I could be more intentional some days but I do like the flexibility if anything needs to be addressed #323learns
A2: The shared values among those I work with revolve around doing what's best for our Ss and trying to be consistent in all that we do so that everyone has access to the same resources. Relationship building is also one of our core strengths. #323learns
A1: My purpose for reading this book is to continue to work on how I connect with my students and colleagues and to reinforce ideas on the importance of relationships. #323learns
Slowchat #yourstudentmystudentourstudent A4: My own growth has been ongoing PD over the years. Our dedicated staff has done a lot to help facilitate this growth and I know we will continue to seek out additional ways to bring in new opportunities
