@sanjaymanjrekar Rightly said. Suppressing and brainwashing doesn’t work. Younger generation is logical and wants to find the truth. And that exactly is the reason BJP keeps winning. Because when it comes to voting, these young folks are logically able to compare options. BJP still stands out.

When Conan O'Brien roasted Harvard University during his commencement speech, he made a profound observation:

It is often said that a person's life is shaped 50% by genes and 50% by environment. Yet that doesn't fully explain why even siblings raised in the same home can become vastly different individuals.

There seems to be something deeper within us that influences the choices we make.

A small anecdote from the Mahabharata captures this beautifully.
When Shri Krishna asks Duryodhana why he does not follow Dharma, does he not know the difference between right and wrong?

Duryodhana responds:

जानामि धर्मं न च मे प्रवृत्तिः
जानाम्यधर्मं न च मे निवृत्तिः ।
त्वया हृषीकेश हृदि स्थितेन
यथा नियुक्तोऽस्मि तथा करोमि ॥

Whether we call it 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐚 (चित्त), consciousness, character, or simply our inner nature, we all recognize that there is something within us that ultimately shapes our decisions.

When life presents us with adversity, we usually have two choices: we can become 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 or we can become 𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫. The direction we take is determined by our Chitta.

So, is Chitta our destiny?

No.

We have the ability to 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 through awareness, discipline, and practice.

Remember every choice we make has the power that strengthens a certain version of ourselves.
