Niall Horan on why he decided to release 'End of an Era' now:

"I just felt like it was a good… Like it needed to be heard, especially for the fans who have gone through the same thing, so I think it's very important it had it's own space instead of maybe potentially getting lost in a long album, so I just wanted to, you know, there's a gap between some songs and then there's the album, so I wanted to make sure that the gap was filled by a song that needed it's own space."
