Everybody’s Free - Ashten York
2020 was one of the hardest years we’ve all had to live through, so I wanted to put together all of the special moments that came from the year. Despite the tragedy, there was also a lot of laughter, beauty and growth.
@paulschumacher6 Thank you so much for your kind words Paul! Your story about your daughter made my day and I’m so happy she turned her life around! Thank you for sharing it and for your tweets. I hope you’re well, wishing you happiness 🥰💕
This is the hardest moment in 2020 for some people - autumn is in the air, the day job is wearing thin and it feels like everyone else is promoting their live concert or taping for things you aren't. Don't give up - this industry REALLY needs you to survive this. 💕
@StuartBCasting This is an amazing idea.. thank you! I have my own vocal coaching business offering one to one singing lessons to people of all ages and abilities!

I am so proud of @JedlyBedly!!!! My whole world is being rocked tonight and I’m absolutely living for it. So many amazing performances from some of the fiercest queens I’ve ever seen 😍🔥 #RaiseYouUp
I can think of so many instances of this during my time at drama school. Feeling crippled with insecurity and learning to brush off many a hurtful remark because we’re taught to expect it when we graduate into the industry. Talent & passion should be nurtured, not deterred.
@olivialake_ Thanks Liv! Yeah very uncalled for 😖 it gave me a complex about my weight and my voice which had never been there before! Not helpful at all.
I think the moral of all of this is if you have any kind of influence over someone, be mindful that comments you make - good OR bad - tend to stick with them for a long time. Use your influence to help nurture and support them! ENCOURAGE people and try to UNDERSTAND them.
She would also comment on my performances onstage and compare them to previous versions of other singers saying ‘This is how it should be done’, because apparently she didn’t like the way I sang it and didn’t want to hear it. I felt great onstage that night. 👍🏻
