TE’s:
• Pat Freiermuth.
• Darnell Washington.
• Robert Tonyan (I think he serves as a valuable depth piece and evidently brings immense historical chemistry with Aaron Rodgers).
• Jaheim Bell.
• JJ Galbreath.
• Lake McRee.
LB’s:
• Nick Herbig.
• Alex Highsmith.
• T.J. Watt.
• Patrick Queen.
• Cole Holcomb.
• Jack Sawyer.
• Julius Welschof.
• Payton Wilson.
• Daylan Carnell.
• Malik Harrison.
• KJ Henry.
• Carson Bruener (I have absolutely loved him on ST’s and really want to see him get more reps as a LB).
• Jamin Davis (really like this addition; he possesses an elite physical profile, sideline to sideline range, comfortability in zone coverage and effective at blitzing.
Training camp is going to be filled with some seriously hard fought battles.
I. CANNOT. WAIT.
#Steelers TJ Watt was not only at mandatory camp, but voluntary, saying he will move around & ‘really happy with how things have started this summer’
My man didn’t even hesitate.
We all heard that immediate “whew.”
Big Mac is smiling like a kid on Christmas morning on the inside.
He’s going to utilize the absolute piss out of Darnell Washington.
Pittsburgh has agreed to a one-year deal with veteran TE Robert Tonyan after a successful minicamp tryout
Tonyan caught 11 TDs from Aaron Rodgers during his breakout 2020 season in Green Bay.

Nick Herbig is having a press conference to talk about his extension with the Steelers.
Steelers DT Keeanu Benton is in attendance for Herbig’s press conference, the only player in the media room.
Benton and Herbig are very, very close from their time at Wisconsin to now.
I’ve said this before and I will continue to do so.
Darnell Washington is one of the most versatile TE’s I’ve ever seen.
He is a physical specimen.
Under Mike McCarthy’s offense, BOTH 88 and 80 are going to be heavily utilized (as they should).
88/80 have the potential to be one of, if not the best TE duo in the NFL.
Both have the opportunity to individually be a top 10 TE in the NFL (and I don’t think that’s crazy to say).
These two are so special, man.
The Steelers and tight end Darnell Washington have reached agreement on a four-year, $42M extension, per sources.
The deal includes $21M guaranteed.
Steelers and agent @PerrettM at @PrioritySports reached deal tonight.
