@teslascope I'm surprised there's been very little discussion about finding a solution to the missing Grok integration for cars with Intel chips. The only avenue I see is the HW3-to-HW4 package upgrade, which has to include a new CPU/GPU.
@teslascope Getting it on one of my M3S. The rear camera issue on 2026.8.6 is repeatable for those who have it.
Now I wonder if it will resolve the jittery steering wheel issue that also pops up when FSD is engaged.
@teslascope My HW3 continues to tell me my rear cam has visibility issues just as I slow down to place it in park. However, the camera's view is crystal clear.
@MobofJoggers I kept my HW3 cars in the hope that they would get a retrofit, but purchased an additional car with HW4 so I can use the newest FSD version sooner rather than later. That said, I am certain that none of these cars will allow me to sleep at the wheel anytime in the future.
@blktsla@Tesla is essentially getting out of the EV luxury car business, leaving that space open to Lucid, Mercedes, and Porsche. They are trading it in for expensive robots.
MY is reduced to taxi car status, and M3 is the new Corolla.
@TeslaJoy I'm in the $15k FSD club for two separate cars, after @elonmusk warned the price could go up even higher. I have been holding to them after another remark on the HW3-to-HW4 upgrade. Now I hear my MSP class has reached EOL. It's just one battle after another.
FML!!
@blktsla@Tesla@elonmusk I think people aren't grasping the fact that once the MSP model has spun its last wheel, @Tesla will no longer have a sedan that goes 0-60 MPH in under 2s.
There is still a market for drivers looking for that level of performance in a luxury sedan.
@chuckcook After using FSD for the past few years, I've reached a point where I feel safer with FSD engaged even when I am tired. Drivers who haven't experienced FSD in the early beta phase may not yet be as comfortable, but over time, you'll learn to appreciate it.
@chuckcook@Rivian@Tesla I'm a strong believer that competition gives all automakers a chance to refine what already works and push for even better innovation.
I have no doubt @Tesla is watching @Rivian's progress with genuine interest to learn from it.
@BStarr119@Tesla_AI@fersanta1228 I've been waiting for an auto-honk feature from FSD since v10, which reduces the risk of accidentally disengaging the session, @Tesla_AI.
@BStarr119 I am noticing a pattern: FSD takes its sweet time to merge into the exit lane, in both my HW3 and HW4 cars.
Although I appreciate FSD being polite in giving cars the right of way, other drivers are not so giving, especially in heavy traffic.
@hamids I think time can only settle this argument. There is no sound argument that can prove these points are incorrect until every @Tesla driver can nap in their car while it drives. Until then, we are only arguing about what @Tesla_AI promises to bring to their cars.
