One of my biggest pet peeves is people who say they are a Christian but don’t act or actually portray what a Christian is supposed to be. I know I’m not perfect but it angers me when “Godly” people are ugly and mean because that’s not what God is. God is love. God is forgiving.
You know people don’t like to admit this but older cartoons they grew up with were woke and discussed social issues like this and were very on the nose about it

We already theorised this months ago Loki visiting Steve Rogers after he went back in time to live with Peggy and warning him that the TVA was going to prune his illegal timeline.
Loki then moved Steve and his family to Earth-828 the Fantastic Four's universe to protect him.
That scene has never been shown on screen.
The Endgame Encore post credits scene could be exactly that moment.
Loki in his TVA suit. Steve's farmhouse.
The conversation that started everything leading into Doomsday.

Greece is closer to Africa than Dallas is to Austin, but illiterate C students who barely skimmed the Cliff Notes version of The Odyssey in HS, who wouldn't be able to point out Greece on a map, and who fundamentally don't understand the concept of artistic license, are triggered
the female body for some reason has tons of mechanisms to gain weight unrelated to consumption, the male body on the other hand has virtually none, meaning if you're fat as a man its entirely your own fault you hungry hungry hippo
“Youth who watch this movie must understand that blind faith in their leaders can lead them to death.”
A Donald Sutherland quote that never lost its relevance.
Remembering Donald Sutherland (1935–2024) on what would have been his birthday.
Hey America, just fyi hereditary passing of positions of power in running a country is something you only find in monarchies and dictatorships.
Weird you’d need reminding of this.
Anyone else notice the complete lack of parenting etiquette in the last decade or so? No one takes their crying babies out of theaters anymore. No one tells their screaming misbehaved kids to stfu in restaurants or otherwise public spaces that require manners. Wtf happened
Movies like The Chronicles of Narnia and Pirates of the Caribbean still hold up as some of the best cgi in the industry compared to any modern day “live action” slop and I mourn the soul and creativity movies used to be filled with instead of just pathetic cash grabs 💔
The iconic transition to Technicolor in THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939) was done entirely in-camera. The farmhouse interior was painted sepia, and Judy Garland’s stand-in wore sepia makeup and clothing so the moment Dorothy opened the door felt seamless.
“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”
George Orwell, 1984
I lost it when the grandma from Encanto was forgiven like nothing happened after having created generational trauma for every single one of his children and grandchildren and DISOWNING HER SON for being different just to then hug him like he hadn't been living ISOLATED AND LIKE A RAT HIS WHOLE LIFE because of her.
No, everything is not magically okay with a hug. BAD thing to teach kids.
