To recognize Islamic Heritage Month, grade 2s @HaroldFLoughin enjoyed listening to the story “Yo Soy Muslim” read by our amazing librarian Ms. Nijjar followed by a discussion . Then they came up with their “I am” poem to celebrate their identity @amtulejaz

We should be taking our outrage and asking hard questions about anti-Black racism to our locals such as school boards, organizations, city mayors and councillors, teacher unions, & colleagues, as said by @mskikeojo during #1BigQuestion & make our votes dependent on their actions!
