SONAL: Just give one number. Long term, short term, how much will pollution come down?
REKHA GUPTA: Please do not tie pollution to numbers.
SONAL: Got it, but to achieve something you need a target. At least in mind.
REKHA: You cannot just say it like that.
SONAL: MaтАЩam, having a goal in mind is basic.
REKHA: You tried this last time too. I will speak less and work more. ЁЯШн

A few years ago, India woke up to images of PM Modi inspecting Varanasi at 1 AM - walking through streets and railway station when the city slept.
Why at that hour?
So that his security arrangements wouldn't inconvenience ordinary citizens.
And it wasn't a one-off. He has consistently tried that his movement should not disrupt the lives of common people.
Here's another instance:
During a visit to Chandigarh for a university convocation, the local administration declared a school holiday citing security concerns.
The moment he learnt about it, PM Modi asked: тАЬWas a school holiday declared because of me?тАЭ
When officials said yes, he was not pleased. Former Governor of Haryana Kaptan Singh Solanki recalls Modi's clear message: students should not lose a day of learning because of the Prime Minister's visit.
His instruction was simple: Treat the Prime Minister's arrival like that of any ordinary citizen. If someone has to wait, let it be me - not the people.
Today was no different.
A small incident. A powerful principle.
