A deeply saddening incident that reflects poorly on us as a society
An elderly woman, who has forgotten even her own name and address, was found sitting alone on a pavement in Bhubaneswar.
Some concerned passersby alerted the PCR, and the Bhubaneswar Police responded promptly and reached the spot immediately.
If she was accidentally separated from her family, it is unfortunate and understandable.
But if she was deliberately abandoned on the roadside by someone, it is truly shameful and heartbreaking.
Appreciation to the Bhubaneswar Police for their swift and humane response.
Hopefully, she will soon be reunited with her family members. #Odisha
@reliancejio@JioCare your network is repeatedly going up & down since morning in Devraj urs layout Davanagere, Karnataka since past 2 hours.
What's happening?
This pic in last few days has become viral and bizarre comments are being given.
The young officer went little overboard but that doesn’t mean that there was security breach. Very often Know Your Army events are organised for public and everyone clicks pics with weapons and equipment. This serves as motivation for children.
This pic in fact is a good motivational poster for Army recruitment

@BSNLCorporate@CMDBSNL@robertravi21 Getting a bsnl sim is not at all easier. Most of the time server failures. No proper responses. In Karnataka, to upgrade my 4G sim, I travelled 20 km to bsnl office twice. No help. Finally I ported from bsnl to Jio
BSNL is always zero customer service, with full of rude idiots

A woman traveling in the A-1 coach of a train passing through Mokama allegedly faced threats and abuse after asking a group of unauthorized passengers to move aside while she was heading to the restroom.
According to reports, the men became aggressive and reportedly said, “This is not your West Bengal, this is Bihar,” before hurling abuses. The woman immediately called Railway Helpline 139 and lodged a complaint.
Shockingly, even after the complaint was made, the men allegedly continued issuing threats, saying they would assault the passengers before getting off the train.
If passengers can be openly threatened inside a train even after the RPF has been alerted, serious questions need to be asked about passenger safety and enforcement on Indian Railways.
What your opinion about this incident....?
It’s a Congress-ruled Karnataka state problem, not a central one. Sold-out cartoonist Manjul, why not use Rahul Gandhi's or Siddaramaiah’s photo?
Why target the FM who travels around in just one car -Maruti Ciaz?
