Visited an Adivasi Ashram School in Gadchiroli.

The girls there told me that the principal often comes to school drunk.

This has been the story of almost every other school I’ve visited in Gadchiroli over the last two days.

How is this being tolerated?

Allow me to tell you what exactly happened after BJP-protected goon Swatantra Bhardwaj's attack on Dalit man Sanjay at our Jantar Mantar protest:

- Sanjay ji's skull was cracked open. The wound dimensions were of such great size that it obviously warranted an Attempt to Murder charge in the FIR (Section 307 of IPC).
- The Police refused to add that charge.
- This Section would've led to his immediate arrest as it is a cognizable and non-bailable offence.
- To avoid this arrest, the Police flat out refused to add this Section.
- We asked that at the moment, the "grievous injury" section be added (Sec 326) which would also lead to his immediate arrest.
- DCP Sachin Sharma, ACP Ajay Sharma flatly refused.
- Not just this, they told us on our faces "go get a court order"!
- The expert medical opinion has still not been received by us.
- The other gang members who were accomplices of Bhardwaj have also not been identified so far, despite several of them making reels immediately after the attack and threatening Sanjay's minor daughter Nishu openly.
- Now Bhardwaj openly flaunts of Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra pressuring the Police to release him from the Police Station and not to add any strict sections that can lead to his arrest!

So tell us why should Mishra not be made an accomplice in the FIR since he illegally interfered with the course of justice? Why should he not resign for protecting gang members and abusing his office? Does BJP's leadership support this?

Why did the Delhi High Court refuse to disclose the PM’s degree?

23 जून को जंतर-मंतर की घटना पर पुलिस कहती है कि संजय कुमार की चोटें सामान्य थीं और खोपड़ी में दरार की बात निराधार है। लेकिन आरोपी स्वतंत्र भारद्वाज के बयान में वह खुद “7 टांके”, “मरने की स्थिति” और “307 बनता था” जैसी बातें कह रहा हैं।

वह यह भी दावा कर रहा हैं कि संजय कुमार की बेटी निशु, थाने के बाहर खड़े होकर कह रही थी कि “अगर मेरे बाप को इंसाफ नहीं मिला तो हम जहर खाकर मर जाएंगे।” साथ ही उनका दावा है कि वे जेल तक नहीं गए और “कपिल मिश्रा अपने बड़े भाई हैं”, “चिराग पासवान अपने बड़े भाई हैं” तथा “सबका सपोर्ट है।"

तो सवाल है कि अगर घायल की हालत इतनी गंभीर थी और 7 टांके लगे थे, तो पुलिस की MLC में चोटें सामान्य कैसे बताई गईं? अगर धारा 307 का मामला बनता था, तो आरोपी जेल क्यों नहीं गया?

“कपिल मिश्रा के फोन के बाद छोड़ने का दावा सच है या झूठ? क्या पुलिस इसकी निष्पक्ष जांच करेगी? जब राजनीतिक संरक्षण का इतना स्पष्ट दावा सामने आ रहा है, तो पुलिस यह क्यों नहीं स्पष्ट कर रही कि इस मामले में किसी अनुचित प्रभाव या हस्तक्षेप की कोई भूमिका थी या नहीं?”

आखिर पुलिस के रिकॉर्ड और आरोपी स्वतंत्र भारद्वाज के बयान में इतना बड़ा अंतर क्यों है? हमें इस पूरे मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच और अपने पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय दिला कर रहेंगे। जय भीम, जय भारत।।

When this attack happened, I personally went to the DCP and asked him to arrest these goons. The DCP replied, “We can’t arrest people randomly.”

I told him, “The attack happened right in front of the police. How can you say you can’t arrest them?”

To which the DCP replied, “You are free to go to the courts”

Such is the attitude of Delhi Police.
