#Italy launches #NomadVisa for both freelancers, self-employed digital nomads and remote employees on a company payroll.

Applicable from 5th April, 2024

- The visa allows you to stay and work in Italy for a year, with the possibility of renewal
- Can bring family but needs approval from Police Headquarters

Requirements:

- Annual income of €28,000
- Comprehensive health insurance during your stay
- Demonstrate accommodation in Italy
- Possess six months of digital nomad or remote work experience
- Clean criminal record certificate from your home country Police
- Signed declaration from your employer (in case you're employed).
- University or college degree (minimum 3 years) from an accredited institution, an accredited professional license, or accredited superior professional experience.

How to apply?

- Schedule an appointment with the consulate in your city
- Gather all docs mentioned
- Attend and submit your application
- Once approved you can visit Italy and have 8 days to apply for a residence permit (permesso di soggiorno)

Other details:

- Spouses can engage in local employment under the family residence permit
- Dependents, typically spouses and children under 18, of Digital Nomad Visa holders are eligible to apply for family residence permits in Italy.

So, as promised, here is the #DelhiFood thread. I was in the national capital recently and had a good time when it came to trying out the variety of cuisines on offer.

I began with lunch at my all-time favorite, Kake Da Hotel at Connaught Place. I went there early, soon after noon to avoid the crowds and the long queue of waiting diners.

I had the chicken gravy and kheema kaleji. This was the best kheema I have ever had! (Take me at my word, for I am a kheema fan). The chicken gravy was however ordinary. The food is cooked in pure ghee.
