Is it time for a "Spotify for food"?
We tend to forget that music was once a physical entity like food.
With everyone downloading files from the internet, Spotify changed how we consume music by connecting us directly to Music artists and their files.
With everyone ordering food online now, we have a sea of brands to order food from. But food is always prepared by people, not brands.
The question then becomes: Who are the food artists?
Head chefs are recipe creators and innovators; Line chefs are cuisine experts who cook these recipes to perfection and serve them to you. That's how fine-dine restaurants and starred hotels serve quality food consistently.
So if you want to get your hands on perfectly cooked-up recipes, you'll have to buy from a high-end brand or compromise for a value meal.
We wanted to change this game!
We wanted to take all the power and give it into the hands of - you guessed it right - Artists!
At the start of this year, we collaborated with 8 line chefs who had worked with premium brands. They've served over 20k dishes, recreating 275 classic recipes in 9 months.
In the last 3 months, over 5k dishes were booked on our app - Cuirato: a platform where you can order food directly from professional chefs.
90% of users checked out the chef's professional experience before ordering. It signifies a change in consumer behaviour where people have looked beyond ratings and have trusted experts to get their food right.
The next big step is to onboard recipe creators - head chefs and celebrity chefs who can monetise their recipes through the platform. Soon, a cuisine expert near you will prepare a recipe from a celebrity chef, and it will be delivered to your doorstep.
Only the affluent could buy music albums and gourmet food, not anymore!

Why you shouldn’t use AI-generated display pictures.
As they try to look more and more like us, we have to maintain our authenticity.
Otherwise, how will we ever differentiate between machines and humans?
My tip: Don’t iron your clothes, those wrinkles are hard to generate :)
What we think about sports might not be true; but Asia will be blue.
It could be a peaceful substitute for war, they said, yet Manchester still remains red.

@UsmaanTalkUTD I think Ugarte won the tackle and stopped the run, unfortunately Erikson couldn't hold on to the ball. We generally tend to not foul while pressing upfront for faster transition.
@Goyal4Gagan It's a battle to stay in India. Most US angels want us to move there and India has laws like 25 lacs minimum investment for Convertible notes whereas cheque sizes are $10-25k
@sehaj23@rajeshsawhney They do have their own fleet; problem for them is to build a consumer app engaging enough to retain consumers.
They've tried to pivot their app multiple times but the truth is they don't have a strong enough differentiator.
