I was watching a show.

A girl gets pregnant. She has fights with her husband.

She thinks of divorcing him and starts spending time with her ex-boyfriend.

Her husband finds out about her pregnancy and starts treating her nicely and caring for her.

He begs her not to divorce him and to give him a chance.

At her birthday party, he announces her pregnancy.

She gets angry. The show portrays it as if she's the victim. Her husband is shown as the villain for taking away her choice.

I want to know - If she's so empowered to have an abortion, why is she ashamed to hide it?

And does the husband have no choice? Does his consent not matter?

She can do whatever she wants?

And the worst thing is, even after all this, she is shown as the victim again and again.

Such shows slowly brainwash and destroy the minds of girls.

They start thinking that not even their husbands have any right over their body and pregnancy.
