For all who keep asking when I will be performing in Mumbai next: I have that same question for @MumbaiPolice. When can I perform my stand up in the entertainment capital?
I understand that my previous work has caused some amount of administrative excitement over the years. I also appreciate that the Mumbai Police has many important responsibilities—maintaining law and order, preventing crime, managing traffic, watching India’s Got Latent and, occasionally, deciding whether I am allowed to tell jokes in a room.
I therefore wish to assure you that my proposed performance - as always - will be conducted peacefully, indoors, at a venue with 100 consenting adults and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
All I’m asking is if 40-50 humourless people turn up to cancel / disrupt the show or harm the venue, will you allow the hecklers to exercise their veto? Will a mob of people who didn’t buy tickets to actually come watch my show get to decide what freedom allows?
Actually it’s down to just one question,
Are you with the mob or are you with law?
@ProudGooner7@Tejas_s_k@actormanojjoshi Condemn this? Is Arnab's journalism even journalism? It's always better to see no journalism than to watch his. Better listen to no opinion than to take his nonsense.
@ProudGooner7@Tejas_s_k Really? These were mistakes? Consider since independence. Which political party capitalized on religious sentiments on this huge scale, and too openly? What LKA and Vajpayee are to Hindus is what Owaisis to Muslims.
And LW and RW never have the correct lens.
Take a look at FM's reply over PM Cares-"Oppn doesn't have any right to question until they answer about PM-NRF."
If you guys have a problem with it, cut it down constitutionally. If you don't have valid answers, what difference do you make? Better you sit in the Oppn chairs then
A thread.
Centre has adapted to blame former governments for the shortcomings of its policies. Back when Vajpayee used to question Nehru in the parliament, he'd answer him immediately. Now the Centre fires back at the Oppn instead of answering.
You don't hate me for my opinions. You just fear that I may be right, and that if I am, your entire inner world of walled cities will collapse like a house of cards
Some people are criticizing @TIME. Last time when it published "Divider-in-Chief", the writer was largely labelled as Pakistani. Well, I was also surprised when I read the article "Modi Is India's Best Hope for Economic Reform" in it last year😂.

Hope you go through is excellent column:)🤜🤛

Simply stunning geometrical precision! No wonder, Al-Beruni said, "Our people when they see them, wonder at them and are unable to describe them, much less to construct anything like them.”

Excellent presentation explaining why India’s stock markets grew by 25% during the April-June quarter, even though India’s GDP contracted by 24%

Kudos to the SC for coming down on hate speech: "'Purpose to Vilify Muslims':SC Restrains Sudarshan TV From Telecasting 'UPSC Jihad' Show. A bench of Justices Chandrachud,Indu Malhotra&K.M. Joseph made strong remarks against the tone and tenor of the show" https://t.co/7xS8jBwIH6
@ProudGooner7 @aarifshaah Standing against those inducing violence and hatred in the minds of people ain't standing for those committing it.
Plus this is not the first party whose members are acting this way.
