@airindia if this comes back as "we searched and found nothing", I'd like to know who searched, when, and on which aircraft — because the tracker will keep showing exactly where it is.
Happy to update this thread the moment someone actually acts.

My phone has been flying @airindia for free all day.
Left behind on AI2851 (BOM–BLR) this morning. Find My Phone has tracked it on the same aircraft ever since: AI2406 BLR–DEL, then AI2819 DEL–BLR. It's on the ground at BLR now, due to operate AI2610 to BOM at 7pm.

I'm not asking for delivery. I'm not asking for compensation. I'm asking for one thing: tell the crew or ground staff to check the aircraft before AI2610 departs. That is a two-minute job that gets harder every hour nobody does it.
I talked to the Gen Z developer behind China's trendiest mobile app this week: 死了么 (Are You Dead Yet), which checks in with you every day to make sure you are not dead. And if you don't respond, it lets your emergency contact know.
Guo, one of three developers behind the app, says 死了么 is so viral now (#1 on Apple's paid app store in China) that the team has gotten inquiries from over 60 investors, offering millions of Chinese yuan to acquire a stake of the company. The app and its dark humor clearly struck a cord with Chinese young people who live alone in big cities.
What's next for the app now that it enjoys so much attention? It's changed the name to Demumu, a combination of "death" and the naming pattern of Labubu, Guo explains. Plus, they want to add AI to it.

I am responsible for Deepinder Goyal not paying good money to his delivery workers.
Every time I order, I load baskets on both Blinkit and Instamart (I avoid Zepto), and check which one is cheaper.
I have been buying more on Instamart because, of late, it has stopped charging delivery fees.
I don't expect 10 minute delivery (it never happens), but I do get annoyed if it stretches beyond 18-20 minutes.
At times, if the tracking shows that the delivery person isn't moving, I call up and ask where he is. (I let it go if they say they had stopped for lunch or tea.)
The other day, there was a heavy surge charge and a potential delay - I would have had to pay ₹72 extra on Blinkit - and I wasn't happy.
I doubt I would buy anything on these apps if they started charging more for delivery, or stopped giving heavy discounts.
So, the business model they follow - pay less to delivery workers, and pass on the savings to customers - comes directly from the way in which I use their services.
They wouldn't exist without my self-interest.
Much of life is filled with stupid maintenance tasks like eating, cleaning, exercising, clearing your inbox, brushing your teeth, sleep hygiene.
Paradoxically, your ability to actually do anything meaningful and creative relies on your ability to power through this stuff ultra-efficiently so that you actually have time for creativity.
You can fill your entire day with maintenance tasks and never get to the "creating new value" part.
@dineshpaii@foldmoney_ The only thing I associate them with is passive aggressive response to user feedback (not experienced firsthand but that's the image I have). I may not be the right user for them as I have pretty strong opinions - but happy to give it a try if that's okay :)
You may be paying for subscriptions you've forgotten about. Check all your UPI autopay mandates in one place. Takes 2 minutes. It could save you thousands.
Cancel what you don't need.

@UberIN_Support I only receive canned responses everywhere. This is such a simple thing to solve, especially when we are even willing to pay for the transport. Collect from driver and send it.
There seems to be no willingness to solve the issue.
Uber just seems to delay

Need urgent help. My wife travelled via cab earlier today and by mistake left a few items in the cab worth 7k.
The number of the driver was shared but he is now insisting that we pay him 2k in advance for him to come. Happy to tip him but this seems extortion
@UberIN_Support The issue is that we have already spoken to Ganesh and he refuses to co-operate unless we send him money. This is extortion. I will definitely pay him after he gives back but cannot pay him before.
@UberIN_Support No. You have not understood the issue clearly. Can you arrange a call back or do I need to escalate to Mr. hemanth kumar Chengannagari.
@Uber_India - Your support has no human we can speak to for help. Just AI bots.
We are happy to pay the driver after he comes and gives stuff of course.
Please help. I will DM details
Reminds me of how our building uncles and aunties were appalled that a househelp 'dared' to ask 2x the usual rate. It was unfathomable to them even asked the building committee to 'fix' a rate card or an MRP. The irony - they have no problem charging exorbitant rents though.
My theory is that Indians have an ingrained memory of a single supplier, usually the government, providing most goods. This applies to say fuel prices today, but used to apply very widely till the 90s.
Our culture has developed antibodies against predatory pricing by monopolists, which now get triggered even in perfectly competitive situations.
