we need to talk about when joe said he did his research before s3, he really meant it !! bc in the same way that people have said that kit will be an inspiration for the next generations of romeos, i think joe will be for actors portraying their characters' mental health journeys
the way cori portrayed taraโs anxiety and rhea with imogenโs comphet and will and taoโs self confidence and yaz and elle dealing with transphobia and kizzy and darcyโs non binary journey and tobie and isaac coming out as asexual and jenny and toriโs mental health PERFECTION
this is one of the things that make me love heartstopper so much, the hand drawn animations just bring so much emotion to the scene and its incredible how they do it so wonderfully
if nick nelson had a penny for every time he helped a person realise they're a lesbian he would have two pennies which is not much but it's weird that it happend twice
i also really loved Darcy's whole coming out as non binary was, it came so naturally and I felt so incredibly seen, I really do think Heartstopper is making a lot of history and is so important to have series like this to exist for anyone to feel seen and heard
i loved season 3 for heartstopper so much!
its such an important season and I cried so much through it
the whole mental illness parts hit me so deeply cuz I related to so much of the feeling that charlie was suffering from and it was so weird seeing things from the outside
cuz my parents, friends, and family have reacted to me in similar ways with how the other characters in hearstopper were reacting to charlie and it hit me how hard that period was, its weird to recall it from the outside like this
@yuelous HOLY SHIT!!! THE WAY YOU INCORPORATED THE GRID INTO THE ILLUSTRATION!!! LIKE THE OTHERS AREN'T THAT CONCEALED BUT THIS???!!! HOLY FUCK ITS SO GOOD IM LOOSING MY GOD-DAMNED MIND
This whole analysing is making me want to try and make games again but I'm stopping myself because my little laptop might just crash and burn if I try.
I really need to save up my money to get a desktop computer
I think it's so interesting that after having made a few games for school, I can now pin point at times in other games what kind of code and/or mechanic they used to do something
Or at least as basis some others I've simply noticed as being whenever you collide or enter a certain area that it does something (that is basically just by putting an empty box that has do some code in it or something)
