@TimmyMallett I just did this route yesterday and whilst singing "we're wide awake" and "mustn't pause, mustn't hesitate" helped me along the first half I'd had enough by then but still managed to complete it!

A Troop, 278 Battery, 71 Anti-Tank Regiment realised they are cut off, having attempted to consolidate a position that wasn't taken by the infantry... they're now being surrounded by the Waffen-SS.
What do they do next?

@ReassessHistory RIP Gnr George Walker (my grandad) and Gnr Jimmy Stannaway (both A troop, 278, 71st anti tank), who where killed in this very engagement. A glass raised will be raised this evening 🥃🫡😢 Very much looking forward to the release of Jonathan's book "JDS" hopefully very soon
@ReassessHistory He lies next to my grandad at Banneville la Campagne. I always pay my respects when I'm visiting. It'll be nice to put a face to the name on future visits. Lest we forget 🌹
@BattlefieldBen Back to Gavrus/Evrecy Operation Greenline country for me and Banneville la Campagne cemetery to pay respects to my Grandad buried there. Real shame I can't get across this year but really feel for the veterans, especially the ones hoping to finally see the memorial at Ver Sur Mer
@SkyCricket would it possible to have an interactive TV screen for viewers at home to choose the camera angle they watch the game from? Seems a shame to not be able to watch from any of the multiple cameras you have. Class coverage and commentary as always!
