On #InternationalSexWorkersDay I want to lift up many who trade sex, but do not/can not hold #sexworker as an identity.
This mvmt is a powerful reclaiming of deeply nuanced, fascinatingly complex idea of self-determination and autonomy - often beyond the confines of sexuality.
@kiangoh Based on the fact I had to not only zoom in and tilt my head multiple times to even begin to understand what this was a photo of, I literally feel unqualified to be your partner 🤣
My work friend recently reminded me about the time he came to classroom to ask if I had any spare chopsticks. There was a new student who just would not eat lunch. They tried food option after option, but the child would not eat.

Here’s a hill I’m willing to die on: Stop using family tree projects in WL. I’ve taken a lot of grief over the years from teachers in workshops not willing to let go of this. Here’s what happened with my 9th and 10th graders yesterday: 1/4
@bubblybutfierce 💯💯💯 about abortion fitting in ~nicely~ with “progressive” white movement thought while sex work + drug use is a whole “yes but…” topic 🙄

I can only clearly make out 石枝which literally translates to “stone” and “branch” - most likely the signature of the artist. And yes, the insect is def a cicada!
@kasekaiserina Native Japanese speaker 🙋🏻♀️
The photo of the stamp on the bottom is actually upside down, so a clearer photo would be helpful ✨ but it’s definitely a signature
@JStein_WaPo I’m actually very impressed that anyone can even make an attempt at “describing” a deductible or anything else in this god forsaken insurance system (=/= healthcare)
