Citizen of Italy here. My Bybit account was accessed without login, and my funds were siphoned via NFT trades to another Bybit account. Bybit has refused to communicate to myself or law enforcement about the incident, refused to say how my account was accessed, and refused to reimburse me for their security breach.
My Bybit account was accessed without login, and money stolen to another account via NFT trades. They have refused to communicate with me or law enforcement about how my account was accessed, and have refused to answer reimbursement requests or give any information besides redacted logs showing that the account which received my stolen funds was 2 hours old at the time of the theft, and was allowed to withdraw them despite Bybit being aware of the theft and unauthorized access.
@Bybit_Official Please tell law enforcement how my account was accessed without login or API to purchase worthless NFTs for 40k, and explain why you allowed a 2 hour old flagged account you were aware was committing fraud to withdraw stolen funds. And reimburse me for the funds you lost.
How was my account accessed and NFT trades placed to siphon my funds without any evidence of someone logging in, and no API key or function existing? Why won't you tell me or law enforcement? Why did you allow a 2 hour old brand new account to sell worthless NFTs for 10000x market value and then withdraw the funds AFTER you had flagged the trades and the victim had told you they were fraudulent? Why do you direct my requests for reimbursement to law enforcement, and then never answer them when they ask?
If you take security and user funds seriously, why don't you reimburse me or communicate with me or law enforcement about the breach where you lost my money?

Bybit still refuses to communicate with me or law enforcement about a hack on their platform where my account was accessed without login, and my funds were siphoned into another Bybit account by placing NFT trades for 10000x market value (APIs to trade NFTs did not exist, the only source therefore could have been a breach of their system). The support team have consistently refused meaningful contact with me and with law enforcement, ignoring all requests for communication or information about the incident beyond providing redacted logs, and answering any other requests with messages confirming they have provided that information and already responded.
I was told by a Bybit employee on Linkedin three weeks ago that I would be contacted, and received nothing since.
Give me back the funds you lost before doing any giveaways.
3 years and no explanation how my account was accessed without record of login, and funds siphoned by NFT buys for 10000x market value. Fraudulent 2 hour old unKYCed account allowed to sell NFTs for insane prices then withdraw known stolen funds under dispute. Fix your mistakes...
@EBjay12@Bybit_Official Hello, Bybit lost my funds and has refused to meaningfully communicate to me for over 3 years. Please DM me with your case details and let's see what we can put together.
I am gathering Bybit cases for a group settlement or class action lawsuit. If you have had money held or lost on Bybit please DM me your case details.
I lost funds when Bybit was hacked in November 2022, funds were siphoned to a 2 hour old unKYCed account, and then Bybit allowed them to withdraw despite knowing it possessed stolen funds. Bybit refuses to meaningfully communicate with me or law enforcement.
I had coins stolen on Bybit in a hack prior to the North Korea one that they refuse to reimburse. Someone accessed my account without logging in, and bought NFTs for 10000x market value being sold by an unKYCed 2-hour old Bybit account. Then that account was allowed to withdraw my stolen funds despite being flagged and known to be committing fraud. Bybit would share almost nothing to law enforcement and showed no interest in recovering my funds or investigating the incident. They bizarrely wouldn't share any details about my own account to show how it was accessed.
Bybit was hacked and covered it up, and screwed me.

Give me back my money please, and answer me and law enforcement investigating my case. Please share how my account was accessed without login, and explain why a 2 hour old un KYC'ed account was allowed to withdraw funds obtained by selling NFTs for 10000x market value while the victim was disputing the case
This is my case. Since I first submitted it to Coinfessions it's become clear that Bybit was the likely source of breach. No evidence of phishing, no suspicious login, customer APIs to trade NFTs didn't exist...They continue to refuse to share any relevant info with police besides redacted logs about the hacker account, would not share almost anything about my own account to confirm how my account was accessed, refuse all subsequent meaningful communication with myself or law enforcement, and respond to requests with legal disclaimers or circular nonsense. I was told by support early on that the third party account which sold my account NFTs for 10000x market value was frozen, but in reality they let it withdraw most of the stolen funds immediately despite the flags, without KYC, and the account was 2 hours old(!) when it sold the NFTs and withdrew.
12 days after this incident, they announced a total revamp of their risk detection and security measures, and mandatory KYC soon after.
I was using Bybit explicitly to hedge my FTX funds by shorting FTT, and couldn't because of this exchange hack. I got triple screwed over those two days and since. Don't use Bybit.
