@jeffverellen@deadlyneurotoxn@Kathleen_Tyson_@benedictrogers Why does it matter if it’s fair? Willing buyer willing seller.
The Chinese made it clear they don’t sell. The West made it clear they are okay to sell.
You make up your own rules. You don’t get to cry foul later.
@ForABetterMY@malaysiakini Najib was fined by LHDN because he was unable to prove how he was legally able to obtained xxx money / assets. Same thing applies here if the defendant fails. That’s the Malaysian law. Burden is on the defendant, not the government.
@ForABetterMY@malaysiakini The AMLATFPUAA law is very powerful in that it places the burden on the suspect to explain in the court of law the source of the money in his control or possession. He has the duty to to prove the paper trail or documented evidence to show that the money is legally obtained.
@ForABetterMY@malaysiakini If the government / LHDN believes there’s reasonable doubt, that’s enough.
Put it this way - tomorrow say if I sold RM100m cocaine and bought a RM100m house. The government does not need to prove I sold cocaine, but it their right to question how I was able to obtain RM100m.
@ForABetterMY@malaysiakini In Malaysia the law allows the government to seize assets if they’re unable to prove how the assets were obtained. Believe or not, the onus is on the person to prove how they are able to financially buy/obtain something.
@Iqtodabal I hope Malaysians remember international schools are primarily catered for foreigners. It’s expected that the teachers, cultural values and so on are foreign based, not Malaysian! GIS is British style, ISKL is American style, etc.
@Iqtodabal Because it’s an international school. Why would expatriate send their kids to a school just to be taught by local teachers? Foreign teachers don’t come to Malaysia for shit pay. Similarly you won’t find Malaysians going abroad for lousy pay either.
@Iqtodabal You can say whatever you want but no sane expat will send their kids just to be taught English by a local teacher with a Malaysian accent. ISKL primarily hires American teachers, GIS with British teachers. There’s a reason for it.
@Iqtodabal There’s many local teachers to hire, and very few foreign teachers to hire. If a local teacher does not want a low pay check, there’s another willing to take. The same cannot be said for foreign teachers. It’s really very simple.
@LYSinaga It’s called ambitious and smart. Singapore is trying to push themselves to be entertainment industries to be their next big thing, and other countries slacked off instead. Also, if TS would have calculated and saw she’ll make more money too. It’s a win-win situation for them
@genz20001@mhmmdhsm@AbdulHa65511128 Sebab coffee beans jual coffee drinks and more. CB business bukan jual beans. Just like Apple - dia bukan jual epal kan?
Tetapi Sambal Nyet Berapi mmg jual main business jual sambal je. Itu tak boleh.
Basically tak boleh trademark nama benda yang kau jual.
@zfqr6 @MuazAzman13 Let’s be honest to yourself okay? Beli skrng ke nanti you tidak mampu boikot IT. Impossible. Whether AMD ke Israel ke or chip manufacturing equipments semua US/Israel related.
Amerika is a superpower - zero, absolutely zero way you can avoid. Your visa/Mastercard pun Amerika.
@qiechan516 @MuazAzman13 Share price jatuh bukan sales. Paper money je. Bukan tentu rugi lagi. Yang terkesan ialah shareholder yang banyaknya orang biasa juga. Silap2 EPF juga ada indirect investment kat Starbucks.
